UJI TOKSISITAS EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN JAMBU BIJI AUSTRALIA (Psidium guajava L) DENGAN METODE BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test)

ABSTRACTGuava is one of the plants that can traditionally be used for treatment diseases. Many kinds guava, which Australian guava has characteristics roots, stems, leaves, dark red fruit. This study aims to determine toxicity ethanol extract leaves (Psidium guajava L) using BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test) method and chemical content L). The was made by ultrasonic 96% solvent. Toxicity tests were carried out 48-hour-old Artemia salina Leach shrimp larvae. toxic effect identified percentage larvae mortality probit analysis (LC50). From research results, phytochemical includes tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids saponins, flavonoid compounds have highest compared others.
